2015 Kia Soul EV-Car of the Year

 

The 2015 Kia Soul EV has been named car of the year in Norway, defeating noteworthy rivals such as the Audi A3 hybrid and Volkswagen Passat. The vehicle received this award from Dinside, which is the country’s largest consumer information service provider. The car received high marks for its excellent range, polished design, and good internal space management.

 

The 2015 Kia Soul EV has been tested under the European test cycle and can travel 212 kilometers on a single charge. Eco-friendly cars can suffer from limited cargo space due to the intrusive nature of the battery pack; however, the 2015 Kia Soul EV maintains the boxy shape of the regular Soul allowing for more passenger and cargo room.

 

The Kia Soul EV is currently available in Canada. It is almost the same size as the distinguished gas powered Soul.  Provincial government rebates in Ontario bring the price of the Soul EV to about the same as a loaded conventional version. The 2015 Kia Soul EV is an excellent choice as an economically friendly electric powered car.
