2014 Kia Soul Top 10 Best Interiors

 

The Kia Soul won a Red Dot Design award for its phenomenal exterior design and now it has received recognition for its superior interior design. It was placed in the top 10 Best Interiors for 2014 by leading automotive journal Ward’s Auto World. Other vehicles such as the prestigious Mercedes-Benz S550 and Rolls-Royce Wraith were also placed in the top 10. The original Kia Soul interior wowed the judges five years ago and the all new redesigned 2014 Kia Soul has once again wowed the judges.

 

The judges were impressed with the amount of room in the interior even though it is placed in the small car category.The Ward’s Auto World says this about the Kia Soul, "Gray interiors frequently leave our judges cold, but the Soul uses a 2-tone scheme that combines successfully with breakthrough aesthetic elements such as the swoopy door trim, accent stitching and an instrument panel with an upright design that connects nicely with the tall, boxy greenhouse."

 

Fuse works media says, “The instrument cluster features deeply recessed circular gauges, and along the door panels, sculpted circles incorporate the power windows and door locks. The centre console features a circular gear shift surround and engine push-button start.”

 

The interior also features steering wheel mounted controls for the audio system and trip computer. The Kia Soul’s interior most definitely compliments its exterior design and the two combined together set the Kia Soul in another class.
