2014 Kia Soul Red Dot Design 

 

The all new 2014  Kia Soul was awarded the 'Red Dot Design Award' in the transportation segment in Germany on Monday, March 24th. The Red Dot Design Award is considered one of three prestigious design awards given out, along with the iF Prodcut Design Award and IDEA. The 2014 Kia Soul also picked up the iF Product Design Award back in February. In 2009 the original Kia Soul was the first Korean car to pick up a Red Dot Design Award. The all new 2014 Kia Soul is undoubtedly following in its predecessor's footsteps.
 

The Motor Report quotes Red Dot CEO, Professor Dr. Peter Zec saying, "The Red Dot Awards give design professionals from all over the world a chance to measure themselves against each other. Year after year, this results in a higher level of design and also motivates the participants to enter their best products in the competition." The judges take many areas into consideration such as functionality, durability, quality, and ecological compatibility. The all new 2014 Kia Soul has once again claimed this prestigious award, one of many that are sure to follow.
